For over 16 years, Divine Mercy Parish has been a place of encounter with God’s infinite love and compassion — a home where every soul is welcomed, nourished, and sent forth to serve.
Our Roots in Pugawan
Divine Mercy Parish was established in 2008 as a response to the growing spiritual needs of the Pugawan community in Quezon City. What began as a small chapel serving a handful of families has grown into a vibrant parish that serves thousands of faithful from the surrounding barangays.
The parish is named in honor of the Divine Mercy devotion — the message of God’s boundless love and compassion for all humanity, as revealed to St. Faustina Kowalska. This spirituality of mercy forms the very soul of our parish life: how we worship, how we serve, and how we welcome each person through our doors.
Under the care of the Archdiocese of Manila, Divine Mercy Parish has continuously expanded its ministries, sacramental programs, and outreach activities — nurturing a community that is rooted in faith and alive in action.

Divine Mercy Parish is called to be a community of disciples who joyfully proclaim and embody God’s merciful love. We fulfill this mission by celebrating the sacraments with reverence, forming the faithful in the teachings of the Church, reaching out to the poor and the vulnerable, and inviting all people into a living relationship with Jesus Christ.
We envision a parish where every person — regardless of background, history, or circumstance — experiences the transforming power of God’s mercy and becomes an instrument of that same mercy to others. Meet Our Staff
Devotions & Prayer Life
Prayed every afternoon at the Hour of Mercy — the hour Jesus died on the cross — as an act of trust in God’s merciful love for all humanity.
The communal recitation of the Holy Rosary before the 6:00 AM Mass, honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary and meditating on the mysteries of Christ’s life.
A dedicated time of silent prayer and adoration before the Blessed Sacrament, deepening the parishioners’ personal relationship with Jesus in the Eucharist.
A special Mass in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, followed by a communal prayer and blessing. Parishioners are encouraged to receive Holy Communion on nine consecutive First Fridays.
An annual nine-day novena leading up to Divine Mercy Sunday, offering a different intention each day as given by Jesus to St. Faustina in her diary.
A solemn walk through the fourteen stations of Christ’s Passion and death, held in the church and around the parish grounds during the Lenten season.
