La Inmaculada Concepción
Our parish is home to the miraculous image of La Inmaculada Concepción de Catanauan — a beloved, brown-skinned wooden statue discovered half-buried in mud by a fisherman generations ago. This venerated image with praying hands, long hair, and Marian crown has been the heart of Catanauan's devotion, credited with protecting the town from pirates and calamities.
The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception is celebrated with a grand nine-day novena, festive fiesta, solemn high Mass, and traditional procession through Catanauan's streets. Thousands of pilgrims flock to honor Our Lady, continuing centuries of Marian devotion that defines our parish identity.
